Job Title: Manufacturing Technician          Department: Manufacturing/ Shop

Reports to: Lead Manufacturing Lead       Job Type: Full-Time/Part-time

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is primary responsible for assembling and testing state-of-the-art high-quality instrumentation for the aerospace industry.


  • Using various braze methods, assemble products according to engineering instructions and technical specifications.
  • Perform dimensional inspection/quality control for manufactured parts and finished products.
  • Maintain quality documentation to ensure traceability from raw materials to finished products.
  • Assist with boxing and shipping of finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Required Qualifications:

  • Capable of working from schematics, diagrams, written instructions, and/or verbal instructions.
  • Ability to assemble miniature components with general hand tools for mechanical sub-assemblies.
  • Has rigorous internal standards for quality

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with measuring equipment: calipers, micrometers, surface plates, etc.
  • Experience with ISO 9001:2015 compliant Quality Management Systems
  • Knowledge of brazing and/or welding materials and processes
  • Eager to learn. Accepts ownership for mastering new and different skills.
  • Self-motivated. Strives to improve every day.
  • Can participate in a team atmosphere of fun and professionalism
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, talk, and hear.  The employee occasionally is required to stand, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or push/pull up to 40 pounds.
